Kindergarten Plus (K+)

The enhanced Kindergarten Plus (K+) program at His Kids Christian School offers students the opportunity to "ease into" an elementary school schedule.  This innovative and child-friendly classroom allows students to begin the school year by attending morning sessions only for the first nine-week marking period.  At the beginning of the second, third, and fourth marking periods, a full-day is added so that by the end of the year, students attend kindergarten for three full-day and two half-day sessions each week.

Opportunities for interaction with older elementary students are more readily available during the extended school days

Students have more time to participate in special subjects and activities during the full-day classes

Children are better able to adjust to first grade with confidence because K+ eases the transition into an all-day elementary schedule.
