Mrs. Barton Intermediate 5th Grade

Mrs. Barton is the 5th grade teacher at HIS Kids Christian School.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Clarion University and a Master’s Degree in ESL from Jones International University.  She has been teaching since 1998!  (more…)

Mrs. Pugh Elementary Aide

Mrs. Pugh is a first grade aide at His Kids School. She has previous experience working as a teacher aide at South Butler Primary School. Mrs. Pugh is married and has two boys, Sebastian and Killian. During her free time, she loves to take her two dogs on walks, read, and play games with family. She is very excited to be a part of the His Kids team!

Mrs. Baker Intermediate 6th Grade

Mrs. Baker is the 6th grade teacher at HIS Kids! She is a graduate of Slippery Rock University, obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Education. She also has Sp.Ed K-6 and a Library Certification. She has several years teaching experience PreK-8th grade. (more…)

Mrs. Yamnitsky – Preschool

Mrs. Yamnitsky is HIS Kids Christian School’s preschool teacher.  She has taught at HIS Kids since its inception in 2001.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education degree at Grove City College.

Mrs. Moeller
Kindergarten

Mrs. Moeller is one of two of our HIS Kids Christian School’s Kindergarten teachers.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Early Education at Duquesne University in 2015.  She also received a minor in Theology from Duquesne University.  In 2018, Mrs. Moeller taught the team of students who won the National Grand STEM Challenge. Mrs. Moeller is married and has a labradoodle named Finnegan.  She loves to go on walks with her dog, participate in Bible studies, and play games with her family.  She also loves teaching at HIS Kids!

Mrs. Johnson
1st Grade

Mrs. Johnson is the 1st grade teacher at HIS Kids! She graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Early Education and Special Education. Mrs. Johnson is married and has a daughter, Mia. She loves to read, travel, build puzzles, and spend time playing outside with her German Shepherd and Labradoodle. She is very excited to be teaching at HIS Kids!

Mrs. Smith – Elementary Aide

2nd Grade

Mrs. Collins is the 2nd grade teacher at HIS Kids! She is a graduate of Slippery Rock  University, obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Education December of 2015. During her time at SRU she was treasurer of the Pre-service Teachers of Mathematics club, attended several math conferences, and even co-wrote an article, about the club, that was published in the 2015 Spring issue of PCTM Magazine. During her free time she loves to take walks around her beautiful pond, hang out with her husband, craft, watch history and space documentaries, and play with her Great Dane puppy named Rubeus. She is very excited to be teaching for HIS Kids Christian, and looks forward to a wonderful year!

Mrs. Maxwell
3rd Grade

I went to Slippery Rock University where I received my  Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education K-6 with a minor in Special Education.  I have also earned my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Butler County Community College.  I am married, have 2 boys (Cyler and Zayden), and 1 dog (Thor).  I like to read, scrapbook, and spend time with my family.  I am so blessed to be working here at His Kids Christian School with such an amazing team.  I look forward to a wonderful school year.

Mr. McKruit
Intermediate 4th Grade

Mr. McKruit is a 2009 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a degree in Elementary Education. After a few years of not teaching and working elsewhere outside of the profession, he went back to college and started working on his masters in Special Education; in which he completed this past spring 2016. Before coming to HIS Kids he spent a year working at Butler Catholic as a long term substitute for the 4th grade class during the first two months of the school year,  and the rest of the school year working for the South Butler School district as the primary building support teacher; filling in for classes that didn’t have substitutes and working with the Kindergarten language program.  He is currently in his 5th year at HIS Kids Christian School

Mr. McKruit is married and has four beautiful children; three sons named Elijah, Evyn, and Troy, and a daughter named Sophia. He is a devoted Catholic and is involved in the church in many ways. Is looking forward in working with the children and staff of HIS Kids school.
